Quality Assurance Tester

• Perform manual testing on web and mobile products

• Design, execute, and maintain clear, lean, and reusable test cases.

• Work with Testiny test management tool

• Ensure test cases remain up‑to‑date and aligned with product changes.

• Apply solid QA fundamentals such as regression vs. smoke testing, and exploratory techniques.

• Follow the full defect lifecycle and correctly assess severity and priority.

• Write precise, reproducible defect reports

• Collaborate closely with automation engineers and tools

• Identify what should be automated versus what should remain manual.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, refinement, daily stand‑ups, and acceptance criteria reviews.

• Conduct mobile testing on real devices and emulators as needed.

• Support API testing using Postman, with opportunities to grow into automated API testing.

• Review automated test results and provide actionable feedback.

• Strong manual testing experience

  • Web and mobile-first products (responsive behavior, device fragmentation, OS/browser differences)

• Test case design & maintenance experience

  • Practical experience with test management tools (Testiny / TestRail / Zephyr)

  • Knows how to keep test cases lean, reusable and up-to-date

• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals

  • Test levels, test types, regression vs smoke, exploratory testing

  • Bug lifecycle, severity vs priority

• Defect reporting & communication

  • Writing clear, reproducible bug reports with proper steps, evidence, and expected results

• Basic understanding of automation concepts

  • Knows what automation is good for vs what should stay manual

  • Comfortable working alongside automation engineers / tools like Testim

• Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Sprint planning, refinement, daily syncs, acceptance criteria validation

• Fluent in Hungarian and English (oral and written)

Nice to have skills

• Mobile testing tools familiarity

  • Device emulators, Debugging on real devices

• Understanding of API testing, experience with Postman or Insomnia

  • Willingness to grow into automated API testing in the future

• Automation exposure (hands-on or close collaboration)

  • Testim experience is a plus

  • Ability to review automation results and provide feedback

• Basic scripting or technical curiosity

  • JavaScript familiarity is a plus, not a requirement

• CI/CD awareness

  • Basic understanding how tests fit into pipelines
